  My review is for how I was treated at this office, rather than the treatments, as I was not able to experience my desired treatment. I scheduled an initial consultation for June 6, 2017. The scheduler assured me I could bring my two small children. My initial consultation went well. Dr. Pfeifer was nice and knowledgeable. Deciding I wanted the treatment, I asked and was reassured several times by Dr. Pfeifer HERSELF that I could bring my children to my appointment for treatment. Her words were to the effect of if I was comfortable bringing my children, it would be fine with them. I scheduled a couple appointments. Upon arriving June 15, 2017 for my first treatment, Dr. Pfeifer's assistant was incredibly apologetic and informed me I would not be treated because I had brought my children. I was stunned. After being reassured several times by Dr. Pfeifer HERSELF, I was being turned away. Off goes the assistant to speak to Dr. Pfeifer. The first excuse was my son's stroller and the limited space. I mentioned to the assistant I had a portable chair my son could sit in. The assistant goes off again and the next excuse was I could not tend to my children while receiving my treatment. I obviously thought of that BEFORE making my appointments for my treatment, which is why I asked several times if I could bring them. I have no issue finding childcare, but I prefer to have my children with me, if at all possible. I left the office. While trying to process what had just happened, I wanted to see if any appointments were available. The scheduler told me it would be the end of the month before I could be seen. I explained the situation to her and she was extremely hostile in telling me I misunderstood. She never once apologized, nor took accountability for what happened. I drove 30 minutes with my children to make it to this appointment. I wasted my time and gas to make it to an appointment where I was just turned away and basically called a liar by the scheduler. She abruptly hung up on me. I never write reviews, especially when it comes down to something negative. My advice is to not spend a penny here and look elsewhere for treatment. I have never been more disgusted and disappointed with how a doctor's office has treated me as I have with Hillbrook Family Medicine.

  She advertizes her program as a “physician assistant weight loss,” however, I NEVER saw her. Her tech asst took care of me. In spite of having listed all of the meds I was taking for hypertension, I was told by her asst that the drug, Phentermine HCL 37.5 MG, would not cause any problems. She sold me the drug direct for $85. I called my primary care physician to get approval to take this drug, and he immediately told me no! He stated that any dr. that reviewed my hypertensive meds would never subscribe this drug. The following week, I arrived for my scheduled laser treatment. I waited more than an hour before I was finally taken to the back. After another 15 min wait, I was told that dr. Pfeifer was running late with another patient and could not perform my procedure. I left without being seen. Dr. Pfeifer did not even extend me the professional courtesy of even meeting me herself and explaining the situation. Until today, I have NEVER met this dr . I would NEVER recommend this dr. Her professional decorum and intentions are suspect. Go at your own risk!

  Walked in the office, the reception windows was closed, rang a bill found out that a receptionist was on the other side of the tented window on the phone. I waited for more than 20 min withoit someone even greeting me or asking me to have a seat. Very bad experience
